David's One!

We thank & praise our gracious God for blessing our home with this dear little guy! Tuesday was his first birthday! :)

This video was taken over a week ago - David's been practicing his walking all the time and he's much more sturdy now, as you can see in the next clip!

Rock Lake Lodge Memories

We had such a special time in September with some of the families from our co-op group! Although we are sad that it was our final event as a co-op, and sad that some of us couldn't be there, we are nevertheless so thankful for the wonderful fellowship & fun we could enjoy there! Thanks so much for your kindness in inviting us, Mr. & Mrs. Bluebeard! :) I have been intending to make a post for months, but figured that I will probably never get around to it since there are too many pictures to choose from! So just follow this link if you want to see some of the highlights of our time there.

 Rev. Pennings gave an informative presentation about MINTS, a mission organization that seeks to reach the world for Christ by preparing Christian leaders in many nations for ministry.  And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20
This was a special way for Dad & Mom to celebrate on their 45th wedding anniversary! Congratulations! :)

The girls did a wonderful job serving the delicious five-course dinner!  What a treat!

Thanksgiving Day

After church yesterday, we went to Mom's and though we missed Kevin & Carole, Louise, & Steve & Amy, we still had a wonderful time there with Tim, Charlene, Megan, & Mom!

We hiked to the spot where we got engaged in January 1995, & found it was only a few steps away from the place where Tim proposed to Charlene in January 2008! :)

We had some fun with jewelweed ("touch-me-not")...

...and found a woolly bear caterpillar.

 

Oh, give thanks to the LORD!

And we found some cute babes waiting for us when we got back! :)

Memories of Summer

Timmy & Caleb's birthday party - they both turned 10 this summer!

We spent a wonderful day in Picton with 2 dear families, both far away now, but still close in heart!
We miss you guys & are praying for all of you!





We found 2 caterpillars at the cottage in July, and enjoyed their transformations.

And another special visit in August... we miss you too, Rich & Ange!
