Here's Bethany, Daniel, Raddoy, & Christine.
For a while, these two cuties kept trying to escape outside, which would not have been a problem if it were not for the continuous drizzle today.
I found this rather bedraggled, tiny goldfinch on our deck this afternoon -- must have hit the window or something because she just sat there while we all came to admire her. She even let me pick her up & hold her for quite a while... amazingly fragile, tiny little creature! I thought one of her legs was broken at first but it must have been okay, because suddenly she flew right out of my hands. We would have like to keep her (we did want another bird!), but I'm sure she would never have been happy in a cage. :)
Maria's gloxinia plant is blooming again! After it died last year, I stuck the pot in the garage & forgot about it for a few months. (You would know why if you've seen our garage!) :( Anyways, this spring I noticed some tiny leaves sprouting up, so we put it on a windowsill & have been enjoying its "rebirth!"
