Here's some things the boys have been saying lately...
This morning Andrew was sitting beside me, blinking over & over. He said, "I went on and off!" and later described it as "I was flashing."
Recently he was in the bathroom, sitting with his eyes squeezed shut, and told me: "It's 'plitch' black in here!" He adds an 'l' into some words -- the computer is always the 'compluter," for example. :)
One evening a little while ago, I went into Timmy's room to pray with him, and he told me (just out of the blue), "Nobody's in charge of this whole world except God!"
Have you ever been to Costco? Great store (huge!) -- Ralph got us a membership this fall, through work. Last week Wednesday I went there with the 3 boys, and commented to them about all the tasty food samples as we were wandering up & down the long aisles, trying different things. Timmy asked, "Is it so you can
survive in this store?"
And when I had them all buckled in the van afterwards, Andrew (a boy after my own heart!) told me, "I wanna go to a garage sale!" We did a second-hand store instead, & other stores too... busy afternoon! Nice to have the Christmas shopping done, anyways. Rachel and Maria were at Opa & Oma's that afternoon with Elisabeth & Heidi, making Christmas wreaths -- from scratch! (There are lots of wild grapevines up there in Caledon East.) Voila:
