It's off!

This morning when Bethany's temporary cast was removed, she moved her arm just fine with no pain! The doctor thinks it continued to be painful on Saturday after being "popped back in" because of swelling due to being dislocated. Keeping it still in the cast for a few days hopefully helped it to heal more quickly. Whatever the case, she is used it normally the rest of this morning. (Here she is, busy as usual with her "baby.") We are very thankful to the Lord!

Out of the Mouth of Babes...

Bethany spends a lot of time singing while she plays! Here she sings part of "Holy, Holy, Holy," but when she sings it with us she sings the rest of the verse as well. The tune is more recognizable than the words, however! :)
Her cast doesn't seem to bother her too much, although it gives her a bit of trouble when she is trying to get to sleep. She had a little fall on Saturday morning, nothing major, & kept holding her arm & really crying hard. I figured it was dislocated (she wouldn't use it at all) so I took her across the street to the hospital & spent the whole day there. It wasn't dislocated after all but the doctor thinks it may be a small fracture on a growth plate. Tomorrow she sees a specialist to check it out further.
