Cherry Blossoms

From my kitchen window, I have lately been enjoying
the privilege of observing our cherry tree's rapid, lovely changes.
Look at this particular branch on April 20:
On April 27, just one week later,
the tree's first blossom opened on a branch nearby.
Isn't each bud, blossom, and tiny unfurling leaf an intricate wonder?!
Then, here's that first branch again, from April 28...
...to April 30...
...which was the day we first saw that the bees had noticed our
trees, thankfully :) (we'll be appreciating their hard work of
pollinating in a month or two, the Lord willing!)...
...to May 1.
For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater...

...So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Isaiah 55:10-11
Bigger boys...
...and smaller boys all love climbing these wonderful trees
that the Lord has blessed us with! :)

Jonas can't wait for your cherries! :) He said yesterday that we'll need to get a bag/basket of them from you and save the seeds so we can grow our own cherry trees! Thanks for always sharing them with us!!
