Psalm 127
Unless the LORD builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
Unless the LORD builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

Well... let me be the first to congratulate you via blogger. We thank the Lord for His goodness to you and pray that you will be given His help as you raise 3 sons and 3 daughters in His ways. ra
Me next, me next! I have tears in my eyes looking at this little one - and at my dear friend Sharon, who is now holding her sweet girl in her arms instead of her "tummy". Praise the Lord for His great goodness - for the priveledge and blessing He gives to not only have children entrusted to us, but also to be given the strength and wisdom from Him to raise them to His glory! You rest now, Sharon - that's an order :) with love, Cher
Congratulations!!!
A little girl, how sweet!
I like the name you chose :)
We'll be praying for you, that everything will contiue to go well.
Looking forward to more pictures.
Love the Boekees :)
Congratulations Ralph & Sharon and the Lord's blessing as you continue to raise your family for His glory!
Congratulations! I'm so excited that it is a girl :) We'll continue to pray for you in the days of REST (that's an order!) as you gain your strength back, and in the years of raising your 6 blessings! I too love the name Bethany!
awwww, a baby girl :) we are thrilled! how delightful to see a picture - she looks very cute!! and i must say, Sharon doesn't look a bit older after #6 than she did after #1 10 years ago. i do agree with Cher that you must force yourself to take a nice break now, though - after running around so much with that big belly the last few weeks. You are always an inspiration to me to get off my tush and get busy :)...We are so thankful with you both for God's gracious blessings - 6 healthy children and, like Cher said, the knowledge & wisdom & strength to raise them up in His ways!! wow - His goodness is unfathomable. May He continue to bless & keep you all!! looking forward to meeting her soon!! Lots of love, Carole & Kev & proud cousins Ashleigh & Jaden :)
I was so excited to hear you had another girl!! Now all the boys that were born last year will have some wives to choose from:) We were glad to hear that everything went well. We pray that God will give you much strength as you try to recover. Do take it easy, we all know how you love to run around and help others, but now let us help you for a change! You are an example to us all, for your selflessness, and especially your godly character.
Love Steve, Jo & family
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter Bethany. May God bless your family and grant you healing!

Congratulations Ralph and Sharon... I've been checking your blog for a while now waiting to hear the good news. What a blessing to have another daughter.
Oh, how wonderful! You two look sweet together, Sharon. What wonderful chubby cheeks she has already!
Congratulations, and we look forward to seeing your newest wee blessing!
So wonderful Sharon! We are so thankful that all went well and that you have a beautiful daughter. I asked your girls yesterday what they were hoping for, and they said a girl. They must be really thrilled. :) We are looking forward to meeting little Bethany soon.
love Wilf and Sharon
Congratulations! How exciting to be blessed with another child, and another girl after all those boys! We look forward to getting to know this latest addition to your beautiful family.
Congratulations Ralph and Sharon! How exciting! A baby girl :D...May our God and heavenly Father continue to bless and strengthen you as you raise another covenant child for His glory!
Congratulations Ralph & Sharon and kids! We are so thankful to hear that you are both well and that God preserved you through that blood clot scare. We hope all goes well now and you manage to get some sleep too. Hopefully Rachel and Maria can be a big help around the house for you Sharon! May God continue to bless you both with much health, strength and wisdom as you raise Bethany and your other children in the fear of the Lord. We hope when you get a chance we will see more pictures of your little one. :)
