information overload, I think! But we all enjoyed the day,
despite getting rather tired towards the end of the afternoon. :)
Here's Maria making paper the old-fashioned way.
Lifting weights with pulleys...
Our favourite part, maybe (at least it was for me) -- Ocean life!
Look at this HUGE skeleton of a finwhale, found in Nova Scotia!
We loved watching these beautiful starfish move around,
using the tiny tube feet that God designed them with!

Other things the kids enjoyed -- "Kidspark Hall" (so many fun things to try there!); walking through the humid tropical rain forest; rock climbing(!); going through a dark scary cave; learning about our body's joints, bones, & organs; touching all the different rocks & minerals at "The Rockshop," where some friendly people answered all our Q's; trying out different water pump systems; watching balls(!); trying to identify various trees by their leaves; seeing the huge stump of a 464-year-old giant tree... well, I can't remember the rest, but make sure you go there someday to experience it all, yourself!!
