We're glad to have John & Betty & their 3 kids around for the summer! Here's a recent update from Betty:
It's hard to believe our years at seminary are really finally over now... (This summer) John will be working with Rev. Vogel of Living Waters Reformed Church... It's not exactly an internship, but more of an opportunity for John to preach every Sunday (once at Living Waters and once elsewhere) and to work with Rev. Vogel in preparing for his classis (candidacy) exam which will likely take place in September or October. We are very much looking forward to this set-up as we believe it will be extremely beneficial for John in his exam preparations as well as to keep him in the same line of 'work'. Details are still to be worked out, but at least we know where to go now. :) The time of uncertainty and waiting was difficult, but God has again given us enough light to see the next step. We know He will also lead us after this summer is over. We appreciate the prayers that have been prayed on our behalf and continue to ask for prayers for the summer and beyond.
