One month ago we enjoyed a very special week with my side of the family -- the first time we've had a vacation together
in 8 years, I think! Crazy! We are very eager to do it again
next year, the Lord willing!
Mom was in the kitchen a lot, of course, always eager to serve us!Thanks Mom! :)
It was so special to have Louise, Steve, Amy, Sierra, and our cousin Matt there all weekend! We were sad to see them go at noon on Monday, but we packed lots of fun into the days they were with us! The guys enjoyed some canoe races (the ones in this collage are mostly Charlene's)

It was also so special to have Beppe with us all week! We all were so thankful to God for protecting her on Sunday, when she collapsed in church, was rescued by Tim & Charlene, & spent the rest of the day at the hospital. I'm not sure what her latest tests showed, but the doctors there thought it may have been partly cause be dehydration.Here she is on Monday morning, enjoying Uncle Tim's goofiness with her grandchildren!
Sierra's first birthday was coming up later that week when they would be far away, so we celebrated it there on Monday. She is wearing the "birthday dress" that her grandmother, mother, & aunts all wore on their first birthdays! What a honey! :)

Aren't we just blessed beyond compare?! Look at all the joy/fun/laughter our lives are filled with - looks like such a nice time with your family, Sharon! Praise the Lord for His incredible goodness to us all!
