We thank our faithful Heavenly Father for His protecting care during our refreshing vacation! The weather in Florida was just beautiful, warm and sunny most of the time. We stayed at St. Joseph State Park -- absolutely beautiful, with the nicest (and longest) beach I've ever seen! We saw so much wildlife there -- pelicans, cardinals, sandpipers, crabs, clams, fish, dolphins, deer (I followed 3 deer around for about 10 minutes, Wednesday at dawn!), a snake, a stingray, and an alligator! The only drawback was that we got eaten alive at certain times of day by tiny black sand fleas, also called no-see-ums, gnats, or micro vampires! :) The kids are still scratching themselves here & there. But it was a small price to pay! Anyways... we'll be posting pictures ASAP; Blogger won't let me now, for some reason. :(
It was great to spend a whole week with Mark & Christy (who live in New Jersey) and Rich & Ange (our church's missionaries, from Tepic, Mexico) and all their kids. Including our 5, there were altogether 13 children there! They all had such fun, running around all day together. We had three campsites in a row, which worked out great. We sat together at the campfire at our site every night, and they were able to hear if any of their kids cried (which they hardly ever did).
We thank God for the encouraging fellowship we could enjoy with our friends, in that wonderful place!
for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

It is good to here that you had such a nice time, but we certainly are glad to have you back. We are looking forward to seeing you in church again.

Beautiful pictures! Great that you had a wonderful time. Was it warm enough for swimming?
